Generally, computer science is the study of computers and their systems. Simple enough? But, it gets more challenging as not only are there many specializations in this field, systems are ever evolving and you have to be lifetime learners to adapt and innovate. What can you expect in a computer science bachelor degree course?

Programming languages, computer algorithms and systems, artificial intelligence, and statistics, to name a few! 

You can opt for a specialization (eg, Information Systems and Business Analytics) or just a general Computer Science degree. Do note there are also Bachelor in Arts and Bachelor in Science programs.  The duration for a bachelor’s program is 3 years in UK and Australia, 4 years in the USA.
